‘Streamlit’ing
Not Streamlining
Inspired by the UN SDG 6 public data gathering efforts, I designed this tool to bring organizational goals into community action.
The technical data collection can be engaging and accessible, empowering the public to directly contribute to vital monitoring initiatives without getting bogged down in complex systems.
By allowing the public to interact with organizational research goals, this tool fosters transparency and trust, while offering people a sense of ownership over the outcomes. Community participants benefit from seeing their contributions directly influence decision-making and policy development. This engagement also enhances data quality, as local knowledge and observations can fill gaps that centralized research might miss, ultimately creating more effective and meaningful research outcomes for everyone involved.
